1. What BidLand is
BidLand ("we", "us", the "Service") is an interactive world map where anyone can place a monetary stake on a country using a chosen username, a link (website, social profile, or app), and a color. The listing with the highest cumulative stake on a country is shown as its current owner. There are no traditional user accounts or passwords — your username works like one instead: it's private, it's how you prove a listing is yours when you come back to top it up or update it, and you're responsible for keeping it to yourself. We never display it publicly. Don't use a username or link you don't have the right to use.
2. Payments
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our reseller of record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, and payment security for every stake. By placing a stake, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for details on when a stake can be refunded.
3. No guarantee of rank or outcome
A stake increases your listing's cumulative total on a country; it does not guarantee any particular rank, duration of visibility, or business outcome. Any other listing can place a higher stake at any time and take the top position. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use BidLand to advertise illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove a listing, reset a country's stakes, or refuse service at our discretion if we believe this section has been violated.
5. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
